Vasil Hadžimanov finished the Berklee College of Music in Bostonu.
At the Faculty of Modern Arts, he works as a visiting professor.

Having graduated from the Mokranjac secondary music school in Belgrade, where he learnt the fundamentals of classical music studying theory and piano, Vasil Handžimanov went to study in Boston, where he enrolled at the Professional Music department of the prestigious Berklee College of Music, where he studied performing, composing and production, as well as the fundamentals of music business.

Having acquired this strong basis of knowledge, he went on to work for two more years in Boston and New York, where he played with today’s best musicians in the world. He acquired further experience at the Tomandandy studio in New York, where he worked as a composer and music programmer on various film score, ad music and music software projects.

His decision to return to Belgrade had a considerable impact on the Serbian music scene; he recorded six albums of original music with his Vasil Hadžimanov Band, which toured across Serbia, Europe and Japan. Vasil Hadžimanov Band’s entire recorded outpod has the status of works of high national importance for Serbia.

In addition to playing with his band, he has scored films directed by Goran Paskaljević, Vlada Paskaljević, Raša Andrić, Mika Aleksić and others.

He has also composed music for TV series and advertisements, gaining a wealth of experience in applied music.

Vasil frequently works as a composer for various special projects, which includes the song celebrating the 70th anniversary of the United Nations, which received worldwide acclaim.
