FCA STUDENT WINS FIRST PLACE AT THE COLLECTIVE EXHIBITION “UMETNOST JE ŽENSKOG RODA”

Master’s student Andrea Sunturlić won first place at the collective exhibition organized by the Art Association “Art Kvart” in Kragujevac. Andrea, as the winner of the exhibition, received a prize in the form of a solo exhibition at the shopping center “Big Fashion” in Kragujevac.

The goal of the “Art Kvart” Association was to promote female creativity with this exhibition, and it was no coincidence that the month of March was chosen for this occasion. The idea was also to move art out of institutionalized spaces and bring it closer to audiences who do not usually visit galleries.

All adult female artists with formal art education were eligible to participate. The authors could present two-dimensional works with a maximum size of 50 × 70 cm, using traditional or digital techniques of their choice.

The jury, consisting of Dr. Mia Arsenijević, a painter and art theorist, Dr. Marina Ilić, a multimedia artist, and Sladjana Marković, a graduate graphic designer, decided on the best works.

The selected works were exhibited from March 4 to March 12 at the shopping center “Big Fashion” in Kragujevac.
