Opening of the Multimedia Studio at the Faculty of Contemporary Arts

On Thursday, May 9, at 2 p.m., the Faculty of Contemporary Arts celebrated the opening of the Multimedia Studio, bringing a new era of opportunities for students, especially those in the Creative Communications department.

In the introductory part of the event, guests were introduced to the possibilities offered by this studio, with an emphasis on its significance for the development of students’ skills during their education. A student from the Creative Communications department highlighted that this space represents much more than a technological investment; it is a place where students will experiment, learn, create, and express themselves creatively.

A place that encourages creativity and innovation

As a key component of the FCA, the Multimedia Studio provides advanced audio and video production resources, fostering creativity and innovation among students and preparing them for the challenges of the creative industries market.

After the introductory presentation, visitors enjoyed a musical performance, followed by an address from Dean Dragan Ćalović. Assistant Professor Vladimir Živković, a prominent sound designer and music producer, also addressed the attendees.

An important step towards improving education

A special moment of the evening was the speech by Petar Stanojlović, the initiator of the idea for designing the Multimedia Studio and an advocate for this educational concept. The formal part of the program concluded with a musical piece by Tijana Trivić, after which informal socializing continued in the courtyard of the Multimedia Studio.

The opening of the Multimedia Studio represents an important step towards improving education at the Faculty of Contemporary Arts and provides exceptional opportunities for the development of students’ creative skills.
