Ivan Bon was born on December 11, 1977, in Belgrade.

In 2002, he enrolled at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade (Department of Sculpture in the class of professor Slavoljub Radojčić). After completing his undergraduate studies in 2002, he enrolled in postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in the class of professors Mrđan Bajić and Dragana Ilić.

He combined his affinities for sculpture and music in his master’s thesis on “Modeling sound with form” (2005).

In 2021, he enrolled in doctoral studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts, while he acquired the status of an independent artist in 2006.

In addition to sculpture, he works with sound, 3D modeling, music and scenography. He made music for the series “Moja generacija Z”. He is the founder and member of the musical group “Mistake Mistake”.
