GRAND OPENING OF THE EXHIBITION “REFLEKSIJE U DIGITALNOJ MULTIMEDIJI” BY ITS TEACHERS AND ASSOCIATES

On Wednesday, March 15, the exhibition of works by teachers and associates of ITS titled “Refleksije u digitalnoj multimediji” was officially opened. You can visit the exhibition at the Gallery of the Faculty of Contemporary Arts, located at 12 Svetozara Miletića Street, from March 15 to March 30. Due to its extraordinary concept, the exhibition delighted visitors, both traditional and contemporary art enthusiasts.

The exhibited works are conceptually linked to the subjects taught at ITS, providing insight into the artistic and pedagogical approach, contemplation, and the process of creating artistic pieces. Through this exhibition, students and the wider professional audience are exposed to an analytical and critical approach in the process of creating digital multimedia works and how to be competent, authoritative, and relevant in the field of digital multimedia.

Digital multimedia encompasses the concepts of “digital” and “multimedia”, where “digital” (art and design) refers to the specificity of digital data processing (images, sound, text…) compared to analog (manual), while “multimedia” represents a system that enables control and combination of various types of media (text, sound, computer graphics, or animation) through digital technology.

The concept of “reflection” (in digital multimedia) includes displaying the conceptual and visual structure of works in the domain of digital art.

The first collective exhibition of works by ITS teachers and associates provides an opportunity for all art lovers to familiarize themselves with recent approaches and processes of creating artistic pieces at this prestigious faculty. This exhibition represents a significant event in the school’s life, offering a unique opportunity to understand the analytical and critical approach in the process of creating digital multimedia works and the importance of being competent, authoritative, and relevant in this field.
