The students of the Faculty of Contemporary Arts got another place where they will be able to show all their magnificent talent. Starting from this season, they will be able to use the Summer Stage for their performances and events, which is set in the tucked away and intimate setting of the Faculty’s back yard.

The stage is finally ready for a spectrum of different characters in plays by Shakespeare, Chekhov, Brecht, Nušić, Steria and other great artists to be heard through Dorćol.

The Summer Stage as a host of student performances and festive events

Intimate enough for monodramas and small cast plays, yet large enough to accommodate a large acting ensemble, this stage is an ideal place for presenting final drama exams, individual and group exercises, but also a place for various festive events of our Faculty.

The professional stage lighting of top quality additionally contributes to the atmosphere in which reality and illusion, life and drama, poetics and aesthetics intertwine.

In the spirit of old and new concepts of creativity, this stage will be the backbone of the artistic corner in the centre of the urban part of Dorćol!
