The construction of the multimedia studio at the FCA begins!

Taking into consideration the needs of its students, with the desire to provide them with the best possible space for exercise, learning, practice and the development of their ideas, creativity and abilities, within the premises of the Faculty, the FCA began with the construction of a multimedia studio that will serve as a kind of a “laboratory of creativity” where young talented people will start their journey and, as we believe, big projects!

This kind of a studio, which will combine all the elements needed for production and post-production of audio and video file formats, will also serve as an experimental classroom, a cinema, and a chamber theatre stage. Such a space will be most needed by the Department of Creative Communications, due to the nature of the class subject. However, the studio will be available for all departments that, within certain class subjects or final exams, have a need for any kind of creation or presentation of audio-visual-stage works.

A place where students’ creative content will be created

In this kind of a hub, with the most modern technique and technology, students will be able to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge and thus, simultaneously, by combining theory and practice, profile their path within the creative industries.
With the mentorship of professors of vocational subjects, who will also use the studio for personal development and content production, students will have the opportunity, through individual or group work, to implement the ideas they have come up with and leave the studio with a concrete work of art, such as radio dramas, experimental music, music shows, podcasts, vodcasts, show reels, video exercises, short feature films, recorded stage forms, etc.

In the spirit of multidisciplinarity and the development of study programmes, this investment in infrastructure represents another major improvement in the study environment and working conditions at our Faculty.

Therefore, the era of collective creativity can begin!
