AI FilmFest Serbia 2026 Announces the Official Program for Day One

Belgrade, Serbia – The countdown to AI FilmFest Serbia 2026 has begun. On Friday, July 3, 2026, the Faculty of Contemporary Arts (FSU) in Belgrade will host the opening day of the first international festival in Serbia dedicated exclusively to AI-assisted filmmaking.

Following an exceptional response from creators around the world, the festival received more than 1,700 film submissions from 126 countries and territories. After an extensive evaluation process, the International Jury selected the films that will form the official festival program.

The Opening Day will introduce audiences to the most outstanding works of the competition, beginning with the Grand Opening Ceremony at 5:00 PM (17:00 CEST – Belgrade Time) at the FSU Multimedia Studio, Faculty of Contemporary Arts, Svetozara Miletića 12, Belgrade. The event will also be streamed live worldwide via the Official FSU YouTube Channel, enabling filmmakers and audiences from across the globe to participate.

The ceremony will feature welcome addresses by Prof. Dr. Dragan Ćalović, Dean of the Faculty of Contemporary Arts (FSU), and Dr. Đorđe Petrović, AI expert and President of the International Jury.

Immediately following the opening ceremony, the festival will present the international panel discussion:

The discussion will explore how artificial intelligence is transforming filmmaking, artistic creativity, education, and the future of the global film industry.

At 6:00 PM (18:00 CEST), the festival will present its Award Ceremony, followed by the screening of the two highest-ranked films in the competition.
